Bitumen 50/70

Description

Bitumen 50/70 is one of the types of penetration and blown bitumen. The degree of penetration of this type of bitumen would be between 50 to 70 (At a temperature of 25 °C for 5 seconds, it penetrates into the bitumen under 100 g load) and its softening point would be between 49 °C to 56 °C. bitumen 50/70 is the raw material for the production of various types of bitumen.

This Grade of Bitumen would be a little softer when heated and would be harder when cooled. Due to its high viscosity compared to other grades of bitumen, it is one of the most widely used types of bitumen.
This Bitumen is pure petroleum bitumen that is produced by passing hot air from a Vacuum Bottom.

Bitumen 50/70 Applications
The most common use of this bitumen would be for hot asphalt production, foundation, and coating. This is heavy bitumen and would be suitable for building and repairing roads.

Jumbo Bag Packing Method:
In this type of packaging method, it would be with a two-layer bag with a sack outer layer and nylon inner
Layer. This type of packaging is used to transport for export.

Drum Packing Method:
This bitumen packing method would be also used to transport for export and the carrying capacity of any type of freight would be as follows:
1. Number of Drums in each 20-foot container: 80 Drums with pallets and 110 Drums without pallets.
2. Number of Drums in each 40-foot container: 137 Drums with pallets and 150 Drums without pallets.

Packing By Poly Bag Method:
Another widely used packing method to carry it would be the polybag method, this product has a bag whose outer layer is made of sack and polypropylene and the inner layer is made of nano nylon. It has a high resistance in front the heat, it is very light and easy to carry.
