Bitumen VG 30 Producing Method of Asia Bitumen
Bitumen VG 30 is one of the classified bitumen that is created by blowing air into a vacuum bottom (VB) in the distillation tower by Blowing air continuously and intermittently.
The classification of bitumen VG is based on viscosity, and viscosity is one of the fundamental characteristics of bitumen, which determines how this sample of bitumen reacts at a certain temperature or in a certain thermal condition.
Bitumen VG 30 is widely used in road construction projects that have heavy traffic, as well as in the building construction projects and insulation industry and the production of liquid bitumen, and this bitumen is very suitable for use in areas with moderate weather.
Bitumen VG 30 is prepared according to AASHTO-M226 and ASTM-D3381 standards.
