Bitumen 60/70 Using In Different Environment Temperatures:

This petroleum product would be one of the most useful kinds of Bitumen in the world and its full name is bitumen penetration 60/70 grade this product is widely used in Asphalt and road projects in many countries with low-temperature weathers and high-temperature weather and exactly this feature made it a most useful grade of Bitumen in the world. we must explain that when the bitumen is used in a country for Asphalt roads the softening point of the bitumen must be 10 °C higher than the maximum Air temperature of that country for example if the maximum Air temperature of weather in Summer in a country is 50 °C the softening point of the bitumen that you want to use must be 60 °C or minimum 10c higher than Maximum of Air temperature.

Bitumen 60/70 Quality:

This petroleum product quality will determine according to some items but the most important items that will say to us whether this bitumen has good quality or not would be as below:

Bitumen 60/70 Penetration (standard Penetration must be between 60-70)
Bitumen 60/70 Softening point (Standard Softening must be between 49 °C till 56 °C)
Bitumen 60/70 Ductility (Standard Ductility must be 100 MIN)
Bitumen 60/70 Flashpoint (standard Flashpoint must be 250 °C MIN)

If a bitumen 60/70 had these items in the standard range it would be a high-quality standard product and if not it has not good quality but for some clients for example only Penetration and the softening point are important and some of them only penetration and flashpoint but we must mention that if you need to buy or importing Bitumen 60/70 you must attend to these four items to checking its quality.

Bitumen 60/70 How to Use in Asphalt:

It is used for Asphalt making for road projects in many countries and for this application, The bitumen must heat to 140 °C for better mixing with granules on the road and must have a liquid form for this application for making the Asphalt as you can see in road projects the workers will heat the bitumen drums easily with normal fire in the environment and then will mixing with granules with asphalt mixing machinery them will use in surface of the road.

Bitumen 60/70 Packing:

Packing of this product would be so important for us to prevent any leakage in containers and especially prevent from making any pollution for the environment, so we are using the standard thickness of 0.6 cm steel metal for our drums with black color, the height of 99 till 100 cm and diameter 50 (+2) and 180 kg weight.
